I did not buy this camera, but my brother-in-law let me borrow it! He purchased this camera right before going on vacation without any prior research. For [$], he thought he would take this chance. The small size and long battery life are pluses for traveling. Upon his return from the big island, he showed my family numerous video clips of him snorkeling in various reefs. The pictures and video were outstanding. Typically, low price cameras do not show very much color underwater, but this one does. The only con of a flip out underwater camera is that the view finder is hard to see underwater. Once you get the feel for the camera, everything falls into place. You cannot touch any underwater camera at this price that gives you exceptional underwater video and stills. After seeing the performance of this camera, I asked to use it myself during our vacation, it performed with the same stunning results.
