DOES NOT WORK!
Doesn't do the job.
First I want to start off saying that this is really an awesome product. The people on this page giving this product a bad review are COMPLETELY WRONG!!(excluding the person giving this a 4) I have been into video stuff for over 10 years and Im only 16. This is called INFRARED LIGHTING, its the same thing that is in your remote control for your tv, you cant see it. It will not make a bright light like a spot light would. To go along with TrAvA's review - 1) this product WILL NOT make your camcorder night vision. 2) if you used it with a REAL night vision camcorder then yes it does reach too 25 feet. If you want a real camcorder with all the spec's get the Sony HVR-A1U, shoots 1080i, is a professional camera, 2 xlr inputs and actually has NIGHT VISION. Moving on to Neva0bsolete review - First off I searched your camera and nowhere in any of the specs, did i read that your camera had any sort of night vision/shot. Again this is not a light that lights up the entire room or anything like that. It is JUST meant to make a night vision shot brighter. Lastly DOakley - again does your camera have night vision? If you couldn't see anything more than 3 feet away, Im guessing you were using the product as a light and not what it is supposed to be used for.
Bottom line is everyone on here that bashed this product DOES NOT have the right equipment to make it work. Anyone interested in buying this product, make sure you have the right camera that has night vision/shot on it. If you have the right equipment it works just like it says it does.
