Why I Love This Tripod
I bought this tripod for two reasons:
1) I wanted the FSB-2 head design for it's perfect fluid motion for shooting videos.
(I've tried other tripods that make it much harder to shoot such smooth, professional-looking videos. They were advertised as being for videos, but they would only work best for shooting stills.) So with the FSB-2, the videos look much better with far less fatigue.
2) Durability: I am on the TV/Media team for our church, and this is the model we have used for 4 years, "bumping" in & out of 3 different venues during the course of each weekend!
So when shopping for my own personal tripod (for shooting college play productions and some short movies), I was willing to pay a little more to get this one. I may have different video cameras over the coming years, but I figure I will always have this tripod, so I was a good investment for me in the long run.
