Great for making a battery adapter plate
I bought this adapter charger plate because I own a JVC camera and all of the on-board monitor manufactures (except JVC) don't offer battery adapter plates to mount JVC batteries. I wanted to use my JVC camera batteries to power my on-board, and not have to invest more money for Panasonic, Sony or Canon batteries and charger. It took about 20 minutes to solder and install a tip and sleeve pigtail cable to this battery plate. I put Velcro on the back of the plate and my monitor to mount my battery and just like that I can power my on-board monitor. You can't beat the price and the conversion was easy. The battery is held very firmly in the charger plate, so the battery can be mounted in any direction.
