One of the best tripods heads!
This head is the best I've used. It is a true fluid head, with continuously variable fluid drag, and great balance. The fluidity of this head is hard to describe, but it's very difficult to make a bad move with it, and you can dial in the drag perfectly for any situation. The way that it tapers off at the end of a move is amazing. I own a Sachtler DV-6SB, and this O Connor head is easily better. While the Sachtler is great, it feels a bit less organic in the movement. I will say that the Sachtler has sleeker engineering, and a more streamlined look, but this is purely aesthetic.
My only real complaint with the O Connor, is the sheer size and weight.
