I looked for a long time for a bag that was under $40 and would hold my Canon Vixia HG21 and the wide-converter Canon WD-H37II lens. I wanted to be able to keep the lens on the camera at all times, but most bags weren't big enough on the inside to accommodate this (a little more than 7 inches long with the battery attached). This bag was more than big enough.
The bag is very well made and has plenty of room for the charger. My camera does not require DV tapes, but you could get some inside this if needed. The inside compartment is sort of a padded drawer that pulls out when opened. There is a zippered pouch on the outer front, which has its own compartments inside, and one velcro pouch on each side. I like that it's not made of leather. My only wish is that it came in colors.
