This is the one to get! I'm glad I waited for the P2 and purchased it with the gimbal. I don't think you can beat the 'bang for buck' especially if you have a GoPro Hero3 already. Battery life is excellent and while the battery's may be expensive they are worth it IMO. The GPS makes this quad very easy to fly even for someone new to the hobby. I programmed the extra atti switch in the Naza software on the remote to auto fly home which is a great feature if I fly to an uncomfortable spot I can just flip the switch. I would recommend flying in an open area until you get comfortable with the orientation and controls. Flying around in my backyard resulted in a crash because for just a split second I thought backwards was forward and hit a tree.
