The perfect backpack inseert
Add-on for a regular backback
Perfect for my Crumpler and Nikon
In an effort to disguise the fact that I carry around a high value amount of video and sound equipment, I have recently been steering away from cameras bags from ANY camera bag manufacturer (sorry guys - I have a closet full).
Instead, I purchased a military-style backpack from a manufacturer that produces apparel and accessories for law enforcement and the military. This backpack is a very good, modular design and I can cram a lot of gear inside it, without losing that all important comfort factor. But one thing was missing - a padded, adjustable, removable inseert for the more delicate gear (camcorder, on-camera light, stuff like that).
The Crumpler BU-02A Bucket Insert was the perfect answer. My backpack is all black so the bright colors of the Crumpler made it easy to find what I was looking for in the gloom. The inseert fits PERFECTLY inside the military pack, on its base, or on one side, and the zippers make it very easy to quickly access all the gear I need.
I have since used the Crumpler in other backpacks and am in the process of buying some more inseerts for different configurations.
Highly recommended.
