This product is a definite asset to indie filmmakers trying to get those smooth dolly shots but can't afford the high-dollar dolly track. The Ballare Pipe Couplers allow you to connect any 1" pipe, be it PVC, conduit, fence poles, etc and hear is the key word: "SEEMLESSLY." I have seen plans on line for making your own using speedrail connectors with are made of aluminum and $24 for a pair (you need at least 2). The only problem is they only work with schedule 40 aluminum piping. These however work with any one inch pipe for a seemless connection. This product needs to be advertised in some way. Most people in my field don't even know these exist but flip out when I tell them.
