I have a different LCD Hood that used elastic bands and I was afraid that it would cause problems with the strain of putting it on and taking it off. This one is PERFECT, it slide perfectly on the 3.5" LCD on my Panasonic DVX100B. The felt lining prevent scratching my LCD Monitor.
This unit truly improves viewing the LCD in different lighting conditions. I am truly impressed with this product.
