This is a great tripod. The biggest benefit is its lightness and compactability. It's such a pleasure not to have to lug a heavy, bulkely tripod around. You can easily put it into a backpack. Great for travel. It's sturdy and has a hook on the center post for hanging your camera bag if you want more weight for stability. Not that it needs it. The carbon fiber makes it stiff. I don't have any negatives. It does it all with little weight or bulk.
