Solid example of a B&W contrast filter
I have a Leica M3 with a 50/2 Summicron DR and a 35/3.5 Summaron. Rather than use older Leitz filters, I chose to use the B+W filters because of their reputation for good glass and solid build.
I wasn't disappointed. They are built like a tank with a good brass ring. They screwed onto the E39 thread of my Summicron with ease and stayed put (don't over-tighten!). I didn't purchase the MRC product, but I'm happy with regular coating. The green filter is a fairly basic filter if you want to get into B&W photography as it gives contrasts to your pictures. Skin tones will appear darker/more natural.
All in all, good choice!
