I bought a pair of these five years ago to power my full-size ENG-style Sony and Panasonic HD cameras. I've shot countless episodes of network TV segments and a two-year doc in 15 countries. I'm talking all day, box of tape, camera hot-as-a-pistol shoots...and these big Dionics never let me down. Now at 5 years of age, I can STILL count on them to power me thru a long shoot day...1 battery in the morning and 1 in the afternoon! And that often means simultaneously powering the cam, a cam-mounted monitor, wireless and sometimes a nanoflash. Sure, they're expensive, but for power density and weight savings, I think they're still the best battery value on the market. Yes, TSA flight rules have changed on lithium content, as a result I'm slowly transitioning to smaller Dionics. But if you don't fly often, these are great batteries.
