I've been shopping around for some time now for a good fisheye lens. I was dabbling with the idea of a century optics lens, but could never get over how the image always looked way too distorted. A friend turned me onto the 16x9 lenses and I was instantly drawn to them because of the price. I had heard nothing but good things and decided I'd give it a try. The day it arrived I took it out and thraded it onto my Sony HDR-FX1. Instantly I knew this was the lens for me. Wasn't super wide, but wide enough to film action shots of BMX street and park riding. I could get pretty close without the fear of getting taken out by a flying bike or body. The glass is clear and when the footage is viewed on a computer it looks great. If you dont want to shell out [$] dollars on a lens and don't need a super wide lens, this is a great lens to check out.
